Working at Conroy

Build something
that matters.

Complex projects across five sectors. Director-led teams. Genuine career progression. At Conroy, your work has visibility, your development is supported, and the opportunities are real.

Every hire is an investment.
We recruit people we intend to build careers around.

Conroy operates across five sectors where our people gain experience that accelerates their careers. We look for individuals who take ownership of their work and want to grow within a business that recognises and rewards that commitment.

In return, we invest — in education, in progression, and in giving people access to the kind of projects that develop careers faster than almost anywhere else in Irish construction.

What we offer

Four commitments.
Delivered consistently.

These are the things we do for our people — consistently, across every project and every team. They define what it means to work at Conroy.

01

Career Progression

A defined pathway from site-level roles to Associate Director and Director level. Progression is merit-based and transparent — people who deliver and develop move up. We've built the structure and we actively support people through it.

02

Education & CPD

We support part-time study, professional qualifications, and structured CPD. Whether that's chartership through the CIOB or RICS, a part-time Masters, or sector-specific technical training — we back it financially and practically.

03

Ireland & UK Projects

As Conroy expands its UK presence, people who want to work on projects in Britain will have that opportunity. For those who prefer to stay closer to home, our Irish pipeline across five sectors provides variety and continuity.

04

Culture & Accountability

Small enough that your work is visible, large enough to offer serious projects. Directors are on the ground, not behind glass. Decisions get made quickly and people who perform are recognised without having to wait for an annual review cycle.

Career Pathway

From site to
Associate Director.

We have a structured pathway from graduate or junior level through to Associate Director and Director. It's built into how we operate — with mentorship, exposure to complex projects, and clear progression milestones. The timeline is driven by development and performance.

Entry

Graduate / Junior

Site-based or office-based entry. Paired with a senior mentor from day one. Structured induction across pre-construction, delivery, and commercial functions.

Early Career

Project / Site Engineer

Taking ownership of defined work packages within live projects. Exposure to GMP, PTW, and complex technical environments ahead of most industry peers.

Mid Career

Site Manager / Project Manager

Full delivery responsibility for projects or significant packages. Running teams, managing programme and cost, interfacing with clients directly.

Senior

Senior Project Manager

Leading multiple projects or large-scale single contracts. Contributing to business development, pre-construction input, and mentoring junior staff.

Education & Development

Investing in your
professional development.

We support formal qualifications and structured development because it strengthens both the individual and the business. That means financial support, flexible scheduling, and genuine recognition of achievement.

CIOB & RICS Chartership

We support employees pursuing MCIOB and MRICS through study leave, examination costs, and mentorship from chartered colleagues already within the business.

Postgraduate Study

Part-time Masters

For those pursuing an MSc in Construction Management, Project Management, or related disciplines on a part-time basis, we offer structured financial support and schedule flexibility.

Continuing Development

CPD & Technical Training

Annual CPD allocation for sector-specific technical training — GMP environments, BIM, project controls, safety leadership, and more — aligned to the sectors we operate in.

Health & Safety

IOSH, NEBOSH & Site Qualifications

Full sponsorship for IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General and Construction certificates, and relevant site-based qualifications including Safe Pass and CSCS.

Where we work

Ireland and the UK.
Opportunity in both.

Our primary base is Ireland, where we have built a strong pipeline across five sectors. Our UK expansion creates new opportunities for people who want broader experience — without having to leave the company to find it.

🇮🇪

Ireland — Head Office & Regional Operations

Head office in Dublin with regional offices in Limerick and Cork. National project coverage across all five sectors, with teams operating throughout Leinster, Munster, and beyond.

🇬🇧

United Kingdom — Expanding

UK project activity is growing through existing Irish client relationships. People who want early exposure to the UK market will have the opportunity to be part of that expansion from the ground up.

Culture & Environment

A business where
your work is seen.

Director-led delivery

The directors who win work at Conroy are the same people who oversee its delivery. You work closely with decision-makers from day one — which means faster answers, clearer direction, and recognition that reaches the top of the business.

Performance recognised in real time

Strong work is acknowledged as it happens, not once a year. When someone is delivering and developing, we make sure they know it — and we act on it with progression, responsibility, and opportunity.

Genuine technical exposure

Our people work in pharmaceutical cleanrooms, live data facilities, industrial facilities, and critical environments. This level of technical exposure develops expertise and confidence that shapes a career for the long term.

A team that holds itself to a high standard

The standard at Conroy is set by the people around you. You'll be joining a team of professionals who take pride in their work and support each other to deliver at the highest level — across every project, every day.
